Wonder if the potential uses are confined to a certain species...

I saw a bunch of Dubia cockroaches for sale at a local pet store. Seems like they are a fairly easy to breed snack for some reptiles, amphibians, and tarantulas. Apparently they don't climb smooth surfaces well and though the males have fully formed wings they don't really fly. They're considered invasive in some states but it seems they must be legal here. Maybe it's related to the cold temperatures.
